Our mission is to strengthen families, so they leave De Paul House not just with a place to call Home, but with confidence, resources, and a renewed sense of hope. We walk alongside parents and children, ensuring they are supported every step of the way. 

• Family Resources: Our social workers help families access essentials like clothing, school supplies, and lunchbox basics, ensuring no child feels left out or unprepared. This is possible due to the kindness of our community who donate quality goods such as food, clothes, bedding, kitchenware.

• Community Support: De Paul House is a respected organisation, attracting partners who work alongside us. Kiwi Harvest delivers rescued food weekly, Good Bitches Baking deliver fresh home baking every Monday. Schools, churches, corporates and families all respond when we put the call-out for support.

• Education Support: Thanks to the JR McKenzie Youth Education Fund, we help cover the cost of school uniforms, stationery, camps, and sports fees. This is about inclusion, so the children have equal opportunities to participate. 

• Early Childhood Education Centre (Playgroup): For our youngest residents, our ECE is a safe haven. Here, preschoolers begin their learning journey in a nurturing environment, while parents find reassurance and support. “Our priority is to ensure every family feels, safe and supported.
