Did you know?
Homelessness can happen to any familyHomelessness can happen to any family whether they are Kiwi, Maori, Pacific or a new New Zealander. It is devastating when it happens and could happen to you or I, our brothers or sisters, children or parents. It does not discriminate on the basis of geography, race or religion. There are many reasons for homelessness but one of the main causes is poverty and when stricken by poverty you have very few choices in life. De Paul House assists those families and helps them to regain their strength, set goals and move on and lead independent lives.

You can make a difference.
Your support gives De Paul House the ability to provide support to families, to help them overcome their difficulties and more on to become independent and self sufficient.

There are many ways you can help: a gift of cash, stock or real estate, naming De Paul House  in your will, or as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. Whatever way you decide to help, please be assured that your donation is helping families here on the North Shore.

How De Paul House is funded.
The generosity of people like you for is relied on for donations.   Businesses, Parishes, Schools and caring individuals help us on a daily basis.  Without your continued support we would not be able to operate.

De Paul House receives less than 19% Government funding and therefore a proactive fundraising programme is vital so that we can continue providing essential services and support to families we work with.

Household goods, clothing and food bank
Many generous donors assist us in many ways but particularly with  household goods, clothing and food.

When families leave De Paul House they usually have no furniture for their new home and by keeping a furniture bank residents are able to purchase furniture at minimal cost when they move into their new homes.
