Accomodation
De Paul House offers a variety of accommodation types; 2 bedroom units, small bed-sits suitable for single parents and one or two children, as well as single rooms for a parent and child. The latter two types share all facilities. The two bedroom units share laundry facilities.
All units are fully furnished with fridge, furniture, TV, floor coverings, linen, crockery and other household goods as well as books and toys for the children if needed.
Families live independent lives while at De Paul House but staff are always available to assist whenever required.
Spectacular views of Auckland can be enjoyed from many of the windows of De Paul House, including the kitchen and residents community lounge.
Once families have addressed the issues that cause homlesness and we believe they can sustain independent living in the community we assist them into a Housing NZ property or private rental.
Unfortunately Housing NZ properties on the North Shore are very scarce but with the accommodation supplement available from WINZ we ensure they are settled in an affordable property in an area of their choice.
